The festive season will soon be upon us, and to enter into the Christmas spirit why not join Portsmouth Choral for their December Concert at St. Mary’s Church Portsea. A feast of family friendly entertainment featuring Castle Primary School Choir who will sing ‘Carol of the Bells’ which featured in the film ‘Home Alone’, The Light Will Lead Me and Together at Christmas Time. Enjoy too, the magnificent St. Mary’s Church organ and of course, the 100+ wonderful voices of Portsmouth Choral Union choir. As well as familiar carols and other seasonal music, this year’s programme will include new Christmas music by choir members Alan Pring and Ian Schofield and in time honoured tradition there will be also be carols for the audience. This concert, accompanied by Ian Richardson – Organ and Sue Graham Smith – Piano, will be conducted by David Gostick.
